How do I become the administrator?
The first account created after installing the app becomes the administrator automatically.
How do I add products?
Tap the “Add Product” button or go to the Product Details screen. You’ll be prompted to enter required information such as brand, product name, quantity, and expiration date.
Where is my data stored?
All data is stored locally on your Android device using a secure Room database. No data leaves your device.
Do I need an internet connection?
Only for barcode lookup through Open Food Facts. The app functions offline for everything else.
Can I reset user passwords?
Yes. Administrators can reset passwords through the Employee Details screen.
What happens if I delete a product?
Deletion is permanent. There is no undo feature at this time.
Note: Only administrators can create new users or administrators.
