Seller FAQ

How do fees work?
Buyer’s premium is paid by the buyer; seller commission is agreed in advance based on value/volume. See Terms.

Can I set a reserve?
Yes—reasonable reserves protect your downside. We’ll advise on market realism; reserves that are too high can suppress bidding.

What items are accepted?
Modern and collectible firearms, accessories, and related items. We comply with all federal, state, and local laws.

What about background checks?
All firearm transfers require background checks and/or FFL-to-FFL shipments as applicable. Out-of-state buyers pick up at their local FFL.

How and when do I get paid?
After the buyer completes payment and transfers, proceeds (less commission/fees) are remitted—typically within business days following clearance.

User Agreement & Bidding FAQ

By registering for or using this site, you agree to the rules below. These keep the playing field fair and transparent for everyone.

Registration

  • Provide a valid email address and accurate, verifiable information. Accounts using false or duplicate info may be deactivated.
  • One personal bidder account per person. If you need a separate work account, use a different email address.
  • Your email and phone must be reachable. Don’t share your login—activity on your account is your responsibility.

Before You Bid

  • You must be registered and logged in with a valid bidder profile.
  • Read How to Bid, the auction’s specific Terms & Conditions, and each lot’s description, location, photos, and condition notes.
  • Understand fees: buyer’s premium, taxes (where applicable), background check/FFL handling for firearms, and pickup/shipping expectations.

Soft Close (Auto-Extend)

To prevent last-second sniping, a bid placed in the final window extends that lot’s closing time, allowing other bidders a chance to respond. The lot keeps extending until no new bids arrive during the extension window.

Staggered Endings

Multi-item auctions may close items in sequence (e.g., every few minutes). Each lot’s timer is independent—auto-extend only affects the lot being bid on.

Practice Items

Some auctions include practice lots so new users can learn the flow. These do not represent actual merchandise.

Placing Bids & Maximum Bids

  • Your Bid: sets the current visible bid (subject to minimum increments).
  • Your Maximum: sets a private proxy cap. The system auto-raises your bid in increments against competing bids up to your max.
  • If you’re already high bidder and increase only your maximum, the current visible bid may not change unless required by the increment rules.
  • Ties go to the earlier maximum bid at that amount. To take the lead, increase your max.

Outbid Notices

Outbid emails/alerts (if enabled) are a courtesy and may stop during the closing window. Always watch your lots as they near closing.

Errors & Corrections

Bidders are responsible for what they submit. If you make a genuine input error, contact us immediately. We may correct obvious mistakes when time permits; corrections are unlikely in the final hours and never after a lot closes.

Winning Multiple Items

If you win multiple lots, you are obligated to purchase all of them. You can’t “pick and choose” after the fact.

Condition, Inspection & “As-Is”

All items sell “as is, where is.” Descriptions and photos assist, but your inspection and due diligence are essential. No returns, refunds, or adjustments.

Withdrawals, Changes & Confirmation

The seller or auctioneer may update descriptions, withdraw items, or adjust auction schedules when necessary. Items may be subject to seller confirmation.

Buyer’s Premium & Payment

A buyer’s premium is added to the high bid to determine the total. Review each auction’s details for the premium rate, payment methods, deadlines, and pickup windows. Shipping is uncommon—confirm before bidding.

Increasing Your Bid

  • Raise Your Bid: enter a new higher number in “Your Bid” to move the current price up.
  • Raise Your Maximum: enter a higher cap in “Your Maximum” to defend your lead without changing the visible price (unless required by increments).
  • Doing both raises the current price and your max at the same time—only do this if you truly intend both actions.

“Bid Hunting” Is Prohibited

Placing a series of escalating bids to discover another bidder’s maximum and then asking to retract your last bid is not allowed. Repeated attempts may result in suspension.
